BERLIN EXPRESS
by Harri Harrison
It is more than 74 years since American fighter pilot Bill Overstreet flew the “Berlin Express”, a P-51B Mustang, under the Eiffel Tower. In a now famous action, Bill chased an Me 109 under the icon tower in the heart of Paris, before making his low level escape along the River Seine.
To commemorate this event, Harri has used his extraordinary artistic flare to reproduce a pencil drawing with coloured highlights, depicting Bill standing alongside his ‘mount’ at Leiston.
This stunning original pencil drawing is sold mounted and framed and includes the original signature of Bill Overstreet.
As this is a framed piece our normal post and packing charges do not apply. Please contact us for a shipping quote before purchase.
Note: This artwork will not be reproduced as prints, so you can be confident that you will own a unique drawing.
